Open to all U-SoA Students

In preparation for the upcoming Career Forum, you have the opportunity to submit your (student) profile to be included in the 2023 U-SoA Career Forum book. This book will be shared with professionals interested in hiring U-SoA students for internships and full-time positions. Only those students interested in professional positions should submit. This is your opportunity to showcase your work and achievements.

You can submit your work to the Qualtrics survey. See submission requirements below.

GRADUATING STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Class of 2023: For masters & undergraduate students who graduate Dec. 2022, May 2023, Summer 2023 and are looking for full-time positions. Graduating students will have two, 2-page spreads (total of four 6” x 6”, side by side pages, 3 out of 4 pages display work samples).

Prepare the following for your student profile to submit in the Qualtrics survey:

  1. Resume Highlights ONLY: Edit your existing resume down to KEY HIGHLIGHTS; work experience, awards (competitions, fellowships & scholarships), publications and/or skills. 1500 characters max, with spaces (approx. 250 words). Must be submitted via Qualtrics survey

  2. Headshot: Students may submit a headshot. Toppel Career Services has provided free headshots in the past, please check-in with them for offerings this Fall. No ‘selfie’ style will be accepted. Submit as a 300 dpi min. jpg. File must be named: FirstName_LastName_Headshot.

  3. Work Samples: Three 6”x6” images. Images can be from your academic projects or professional work; drawings, renderings, photos of models, design build work, sketches, diagrams, etc. The 6”x6” pages may have a single image or collage of images. If using a collage, pay special attention to the scale each image will be viewed. Use images from your portfolio (duplication is good) and test print at full scale before submitting. Submit images as high resolution jpgs (300 dpi minimum). If you choose to display your image(s) as bleeds, add at least 1/8” more to the edges that will run off the page. File must be named: FirstName_LastName_WorkSample1, FirstName_LastName_WorkSample2, etc.
